Miami Beach, Florida, May 10th, 2010
The Music Producer lends its support to Olivia Newton-John, cancer survivor, and renowned breast cancer surgeon Dr. Ernie Bodai in support of Pink & Blue for Two raising funds for breast and prostate cancer research. Newton-John is a four-time Grammy Award winner who has amassed five No. 1 and ten other Top Ten Billboard hits.
This star-studded gala held at the historic Raleigh Hotel in Miami's South Beach included live performances by Grammy winner Jon Secada and Olivia Newton-John. The Two performed an unforgettable duet of “Summer Lovin’” from Grease. The internationally acclaimed Diva Elaine Lancaster mc’d the event along with Louis Aguirre Anchor of DECO DRIVE. The Pink & Blue for Two event received generous contribution and support from numerous partners for their silent and live auction. The Music Producer contributed over 750 copies of its music production software (The Music Producer 2.0) to the cause.
The Music Producer is a natural fit for this cause because the mission of the company is for people to raise awareness for what’s important to them through music. The Music Producer Software is a music creation tool enabling users to write and produce their own music on their own PC. You can make music, beats, loops, ringtones, and music for your home video or school projects. It's affordable, easy to use and fun for everyone.
The goal of the “Pink and Blue for Two” event was be to raise funds and awareness for both breast and prostate cancer research. Host Olivia Newton-John, who recently appeared on the May 4th episode of Glee, says, “We are raising awareness and money for breast and prostate cancer research and show the similarities between the two and encourage couples to screen together. Men are less informed. There is a correlation between breast and prostate cancer. The family that stays together stays healthy.”
Also in attendance was Dana DellaCamera, lead singer and songwriter of emerging alternative rock band “Nakedown.” “It is great working with The Music Producer to support the cause. It was fun to demo the product to kids and adults; giving them the opportunity to express themselves and what is important to them through music. Everyone had a blast and had no idea making their own music could be so easy with The Music Producer 2.0.”
